Purpose: To distribute FY-2008 EQIP 1st Signup Application Packet.

Expiration Date: September 30, 2008 or until superseded

Attached are materials for the Pacific Islands Area (PI) FY-2008 Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) 1st Signup Application Packet. The deadline for submitting all application materials for the 1st signup period is Friday, October 26, 2007.

A hard copy of the Application Packet is being provided to each NRCS field office and FSA county office. Please be sure to include all of the following documents in the Application Packet. Applicants will be held responsible for submitting all necessary paperwork by the signup deadline. We will not process the application for this signup period if all applicable documents are not turned in by COB October 26, 2007.

For application deadline purposes, faxed signatures on the NRCS-CPA-1200 and NRCS-CPA-1202 Appendix will be accepted; however, the original signed application and appendix must be provided to the NRCS and postmarked no later than 7 calendar days after the application deadline. Applicants that fail to meet this deadline will not be considered for FY-2008 EQIP 1st Signup.
