Purpose: To request nominations for upcoming vacancies on the Pacific Islands Area, Civil Rights Advisory Committee

Expiration Date: October 30, 2008

Background: The following three positions on the Pacific Islands Area (PIA) State Civil Rights Advisory Committee (CRAC)

  • American Indian/Alaska Native Emphasis Program Manager
  • Black Emphasis Program Manager
  • Disability Emphasis Program Manager
These positions are an integral part of the overall Equal Opportunity Program and the Pacific Islands Area State Civil Rights Advisory Committee in NRCS. These positions are for appointments of three years, and will begin November 30, 2008. The SEPM duties are collateral to your regular job.

Any permanent NRCS employee is eligible to apply. The Committee consists of representatives of minority and non-minority groups, men, women, all grade levels, classification series, and geographical regions. Supervisors must concur in your nomination and agree to support the employee by granting up to 20 percent of their time for CRAC travel and work activities.
