Action Required By: November 1, 2006 Purpose: To transmit announcement of vacancy on Civil Rights Advisory Committee. Expiration Date: September 30, 2007 The Pacific Islands Area (PIA) State Civil Rights Advisory Committee will have an Asian/Pacific Island Special Emphasis Program Manager vacancy beginning immediately. (Pam Aguon will be representing PIA on a National level). This position is an integral part of the overall Equal Opportunity Program and the Pacific Islands Area State Civil Rights Advisory Committee in NRCS. The position is an appointment for three years, and will begin November 15, 2006; the SEPM duties are collateral to your regular job. All permanent NRCS employees are eligible to apply. The Committee consists of representatives of minority and non-minority groups, men, women, all grade levels, classification series, and geographical regions. Anyone interested in this position should fill out the application form attached to this bulletin and send to the Pacific Islands Area Director, upon concurence by your supervisor.
