Purpose: To
transmit the Bulletin Process for the Pacific Islands Area.

Bulletins provide information and assignments for NRCS staff action. Timeliness and
appropriate distribution of bulletins is vital for communicating prompt, accurate
information and deadlines. With the creation of the Pacific Islands Area (PIA), two
separate bulletin processes (for Hawaii and the Pacific Basin) will be merged into a
single process in order to provide consistent and timely delivery of information to
all employees of the PIA.
Attached is a "template" for developing bulletins and a "guidance document" to assist
in creating, reviewing, numbering, and distributing bulletins. Both documents should
be used to create bulletins.
